When I click on "tools", "manage add-ons", it always says "currently loaded add-ons" in the rectangular box under the word "show". I then select "all add-ons" from the dropdown menu but each time I return, "currently loaded add-ons" and not "all add-ons" is displayed in that rectangular box. If you leave then return to "Manage add-ons" that will have changed.
You only need it to be set to All add-ons for one session- just long enough for you to look over the list of add-ons to see if the PDF reader add-on is there and is enabled. Don do you mean the list where it says "name", "publisher", "status", "architecture", etc.
